Leading CVCD in all aspects of the work, Saveun works closely with the other Management Committee to develop CVCD’s strategic direction, to oversee the implementation of all of CVCD’s projects, and to represent CVCD to external stakeholders. Saveun holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a diploma in Non-Profit Management, which he completed at the University of Washington, Seattle U.S.A. Prior joining CVCD, Saveun also worked in several areas which include Education, Volunteer Management, Community Development, Training, Capacity Building and Social Work. He worked as Executive Director at SKO for two years. He also used to work at Pannasastra University of Cambodia and Royal University of Phnon Penh as Program Director for 6 years. He served Youth Star Cambodia as Program Officer managing and supervising volunteers in the provinces for 2 years. Saveun joined CVCD in late 2016 as Executive Director after returning from Thailand working as CSO Capacity Building Program Manager for a USAID-funded project, Civil Society Partnerships Project, administered under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
Mr. Han Hon
Han Hon is the General Manager in Bathambang branch to lead and coordinate a team to ensure that the Micro Finance program is implemented and delivered effectively and efficiently to the target communities, in a timely manner and within budget. The General Program Manager ensures that the program meets CVCD and donor standards of excellence, including monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Hon joined CVCD as the General Manager in August 2017. He graduated from the National University of Management (NUM) with a major Management in Bachelor of Business Administration. He also attended and completed a few short courses as Effective Report Preparation held at ACLEDA Institute of Business, Advanced Excel for Business and Credit Risk and Delinquency Management. Before he starts working with CVCD, he used to be Credit Officer, Chief Credit Officer, Branch Manager and Credit Risk and Loan Recovery Manager.
Mr. Hem Nak
Nak graduated from Cambodian Mekong University (CMU) with a major in Information Technology and from Training College of Pedagogy. Before joining CVCD, he used to be a teacher in both public and private school. He became interested in working with non-profit organization and started working with CVCD as a computer teacher and IT in (month), 2015. In January, 2016 he was promoted to IT manager until the present. His responsibilities include managing CVCD’s social media platform include facebook page, website, network and all information technology aspects. In addition to his main role, he also provides assistance to HR department.
Education Development Program (EDP)
China graduated his Bachelor Degree in Teaching English from University of Management and Economics (UME) and a Master Degree in Education Administration from Mahasarakham University in Thailand in 2015. He started working with CVCD in early 2016 as Assistant to Program Manager. After competing with other applicants for Program Manager position, China got appointed as Program Manager for Education Development Program in February 2017. His role is to oversees overall program’s implementation and leading a team of 20 staff members under Education Development Program.
Senior Admin/Hr Manager
Dara graduated both bachelor and master degree in Law from Royal University of Law and Economics. In addition to her degree, she also attended and completed a few short courses include Project Management from VBNK and Training in Teacher Pedagogy. She started working with CVCD as a social worker volunteer in 2003. Four years later, she was promoted to Program Manager of Non-Formal Education in 2007. She, then, became Admin/HR manager in early 2016. As an Admin/HR manager, she is responsible for supervising staff, planning, organizing and implementing administrative and human resources systems within CVCD.
Ms. Say Sirisim
Sirisim graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Accounting from University of Management and Economics (UME) in Battambang province. She started working with CVCD in January 2015. Her roles include, but not limited to financial and budget allocation, verifying and reviewing proposal or advance request to ensure the documents are in compliance with the financial procedures and policies, preparation of separated expense account and QuickBook system and supervising 2 staff members. Prior joining CVCD, she worked with local and international organizations for more than 7 years.
