Lock SophyMr. Loek Sophy
Program Assistant

Sophy has just started working at CVCD recently. He works at CVCD as Project Officer of Educational Development Program (EDP). In his role, Sophy works closely with the program manager, teachers and CVCD’s staff; assist program manager in implementing the community school projects in marginalized Phnom Penh communities. Sophy graduated his Bachelor Degree in Law from University of Law and Economics (RULE).

Mr. Chhoem Sal
Computer Teacher

Kosal is a computer teacher based in Kok Kleang Muy community school. He started working with CVCD since 2010 as an Assistant to Education Development Program for 3 years, then became computer teacher until now. In his role of computer teacher, Sal delivers computer curriculum to grade 1 to grade 6 students; prepares lesson plan and ensure the maintenance of the computer facilities in the classroom.

Ms. Mao Kim An
Khmer Teacher

Kim An is a Khmer teacher teaching in Kork Kleang Pi community school. She started working with CVCD since 2000 up to the present. Kim An graduated from her lower secondary school and got certificate of pedagogy. As a Khmer teacher, Neng delivers curriculum aligned to Ministry of Education Non-formal Education (Equivalency Program) to children at grade 1 to 6.

Mr. Ing Chhun Neng
Khmer Teacher

Neng is a Khmer teacher teaching in Kork Kleang Muy community school. He started working with CVCD since 2000 up to the present. Neng has more than 17 years of teaching experiences. As a Khmer teacher, Neng delivers curriculum aligned to Ministry of Education Non-formal Education (Equivalency Program) to children at grade 1 to 6.

Khmer Teacher

Lina is a Khmer teacher teaching in Kork Kleang Muy community school. He started working with CVCD since 2000 up to the present. Lina graduated from his lower secondary school and got the certificate of pedagogy. Khmer Teacher

Bora is a Khmer teacher teaching in Krang Angkrang Pi community school. He started working with CVCD since 2002 up to the present. Bora graduated associate degree and got certificate of pedagogy. As a Khmer teacher, Neng delivers curriculum aligned to Ministry of Education Non-formal Education (Equivalency Program) to children at grade 1 to 2.

 

 

 


T chanMr. Chheng Chhan
Librarian

Mr. Chhan started working with CVCD as a Khmer teacher teaching in Ark Piwat Meanchey community school. He has been working with CVCD since 2005. In 2016, he started his new role as a librarian. His role is to manage the operation of the community library and facilitates the library sessions to students in ARK community school.

 

 

 


Buthy

Mr. Run Bunthy
English Teacher

Bunthy graduated his Bachelor Degree in English from Asia Europe University in 2011. He started working with CVCD as an English translator during CVCD’s donor visit to Cambodia. He is currently teaching English at Ark Piwat Meanchey community school. As an English teacher, he delivers English curriculum for grade 1 to grade 6 students.

Kindergarten Teacher

Rotha started working at CVCD in 2013 as a kindergarten teacher based in Kork Kleang Moy community school. Her role is to teach the pre-school students in marginalized community on the outskirt of Phnom Penh. Rotha is currently doing her Bachelor Degree in English literature at National University of Management (NUM).

 

 

 

 


SitheaMs. Uch Sithea
Kindergarten Teacher

Sithea was a former volunteer at Youth Star Cambodia. She joined CVCD in 2014 after finishing her volunteer service with Youth Star. She is currently teaching kindergarten classes at Ark Piwat Mean Chey community school. Her role is to teach the pre-school students in marginalized community on the outskirt of Phnom Penh. Sithea graduated her Bachelor Degree in Khmer literature from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP).

 

 

 


Leu SivmengMr. Leu Sivmeng
Arts Teacher

Sivmeng is an Arts teacher at CVCD currently based in Ark Piwat Meanchey community school. She started working with CVCD in 2015 to present. In her role, she teaches children in community school traditional dances and popular dances.

Mr. Thim Meng Leang
English Teacher

Meng Leang is an English teacher based in Kork Kleang Muy and Kork Kleang Pi community schools. He joined CVCD since 2015. Meng Leang graduated his Bachelor Degree in English literature and he has undertaken a master degree in English literature at Western International University. As an English teacher, he delivers English curriculum for grade 1 to grade 6 students.

 

 

 


Chhorn ChanthaMr. Chhorn Chantha
Computer Teacher

Panha started working with CVCD in 2016 to present as Kindergarten Teacher’s Assistant at Ark Piwat Meanchey community school. In her current role, she provides support to kindergarten teacher in classroom management; facilitate students’ participation during class hour.

Khmer Teacher

Panha graduated his Bachelor Degree in English literature in 2013. He also graduated from training college of pedagogy in 2011. He started working with CVCD in 201 as a Khmer teacher based in Ark Piwat Meanchey community school. As a Khmer teacher, he delivers Khmer curriculum to grade 1 to grade 6 students.

Layheang graduated her Bacherlor Degree in Chemistry from Royal University of Phnom Penh. She started working with CVCD as a volunteer data collector, then was appointed to be kindergarten teacher’s assistant since 2016. In her current role, she provides support to kindergarten teacher in classroom management; facilitate students’ participation during class hour.

 

 


LeakMs. Nou Sreyleak
Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

Sreyleak is a former CVCD’s student. She studied with CVCD from 2004-2009 in Krang Angkrang Pi community school. She continued her secondary school and high school at SOS and graduated in 2013. She joined CVCD in 2016 as a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant. In her current role, she provides support to kindergarten teacher in classroom management; facilitate students’ participation during class hour.
